Early reminder of an upcoming event sponsored by the Fort Edward Free Library for this coming Monday July 22, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:30 pm. The “Adventure Begins at Your Library” with the Washington County Draft Horse Association. Come and hear about these beautiful, giant, muscle horses and listen to a read-a-loud story while taking a leisurely wagon ride around the village of Fort Edward. Only one adult per family will be allowed to ride along as this adventure is for the kids.
We are thrilled to have Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner attending this event from 6-7:30 pm and she will be riding along with the kids and reading a story.
A very big Thank You goes out to Mr. John Weber, proprietor of Ye Old Fort Diner, for donating funds for the library to purchase freeze pops, water, and a small toy horse for each child attending and allowing the library to use his Business parking lot for this event. Thank you Mr. Weber!
