Library Field Trips to the Albany NYS Museum

The Fort Edward Free Library will be sponsoring two field trips to the Albany NYS Museum. The first field trip will be on Saturday February 15th for the Rock and Fossil Fun Fair. This program is located at the Adirondack Hall of the Museum.

Registration is required and there is a $5 fee per person and is refundable the day you board the bus departing from the Fort Edward School Parking Lot. Any no-shows will forfeit their registration fee and it will be considered a donation to the library. The bus will depart precisely at 9:00 am and arrive at the Albany Museum between 9:45 am and 10:00 am. This program begins at 10:00 am and concludes at 1:00 pm. Those who wish to get lunch after the conclusion of the program can do so but must be back on the bus by 1:50 pm for departing. Arrival time back at the Ft. Edward School parking lot will be around 3:00 pm. Children and teens younger than the age of thirteen must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone older must have a signed permission slip signed by a parent or guardian. Contact the library at 518-747-6743 for more information. You may bring your own lunch (you must carry it with you at all times) or you can buy lunch at the Food Court located in the Concourse. Available to Ft.
