DESCRIPTION:Hey Kids\, we are stepping into Spring making this fun Tulip art from plastic forks.  Age is recommended for two and up and an adult must accompany children under the age of seven.  We will offer two classes.   The first class begins at 10:00 am with a maximum of ten participants.  The second class begins at 10:45 am with a maximum of ten participants.  Tulip Art from Plastic Forks  Please contact the library at 518-747-6743 if you would like to pre-register.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday March 25 @ 6:00 pm the library will be showing the movie ” A Man Called Otto” starring Tom Hanks. This is the story of Otto Anderson (Tom Hanks)\, a grumpy widower who is very set in his ways. When a lively young family moves in next door\, he meets his match in the quick-witted and very pregnant Marisol\, leading to an unlikely friendship. The movie is Rated PG-13 and runs for two hours and 6 minutes. Recommended for those 16 years of age and older. Maximum attendance is that of 25 and is on a first come first serve basis unless pre-registered by calling the library at 518-747-6743. * Suggestion to bring your own lawn chair as library metal chairs do not have any arm rests. \nDoors will open at 5:30 pm. This program is Free and open to those of all abilities.

DESCRIPTION:Learn how to fish for at our upcoming Program on Wednesday evening March 29th @ 6:00pm.   The presenter for this program is DEC Office Stephen Gonyea.  Kids and adults can learn about casting a rod and catching fish\, fish identification\, fishing equipment and techniques\, angling ethics\, aquatic ecology\,  and more!   All in attendance for this program will have an opportunity to  put their names into a raffle for winning either a Childs fishing pole or an Adult fishing pole.  You must be present to win.    Maximum occupancy for this program is that of 25.   You can pre-register by calling the library at 518-747-6743.  Please speak clearly when leaving your full name and phone number.
