Cell Phone Scavenger Hunt Problem

It has come to my attention that some individuals are not able to access the “Scavenger Hunt” story from their cell phones. Therefore, please log on from a computer. You must answer this first clue to begin the Scavenger Hunt Story:

Clue # 1: “This library’s name is similar to Fort Ticonderoga and Fort William Henry with “Edward in the name as well. Did you guess it? If you guessed Fort Edward Free Library you are correct!

Now Google Fort Edward Free Library, go to their website, locate the Scavenger Hunt image, and click on it. Here you will see the title of the book and the next two pages where the story begins. When finished reading the pages shown in the story, you will need to find and answer the next library clue to continue reading the story. There are no links to get you to that library. Remember to Google this library, find their website, locate the Scavenger Hunt Image, and click on it to read the next pages in this book.

You will be rewarded with a Free Stewart’s Ice Cream Cone Coupon (one per child). When you go to redeem your Ice Cream Cone Coupon from your own community library, they may possibly ask you some questions about the story. Such as: can you remember some of the animals in the book, how many library clues did you find, and what library may have had the easiest or hardest clue? Have a parent, grandparent, sibling or friend read it with you or read it with a group of friends. Take a photo of who you may have read the book with and send it to your local library. It’s about having fun while reading the story and finding the clues to these libraries in the Southern Adirondack Library System.

The Fort Edward Free Library is thrilled to have these libraries collaborate and participate with us in this Scavenger Hunt Story. Funding for the Scavenger Hunt is provided partly through this year’s 2020 Holiday Match Grant of which the Ft. Edward Free Library was a recipient.
